Simpson Titen HD Screw Features

Simpson Titen HD concrete feature a thread design that undercuts, allowing the load to transfer to the base material efficiently. Simpson Titen HD screws are qualified for static and seismic loading conditions. They are manufactured with a specialized heat-treating process that creates tip hardness for better cutting without compromising the ductility of the fastener. Available in standard fractional sizes, these anchors are tested in accordance with ACI 355.2, AC193, and AC106. Additional features of these concrete anchors include:

• Removable, ideal for temporary anchoring (e.g., formwork, bracing) or applications where fixtures may need to be moved (*Note: these anchors should not be reused after removal)
• Do not require special drill bits - designed to be installed using standard ANSI tolerance drill bits
• Included hex-washer head requires no separate washer and provides a clean installed appearance.

304 Stainless Steel & 316 Stainless Steel Concrete Screws

Simpson’s Stainless Steel Titen HD anchors offer high strength with good corrosion resistance. These stainless-steel Titen HD concrete screws are optimal for applications in harsh or corrosive environments. 316 Stainless Steel offers exceptionally strong resistance when exposed to saltwater or corrosive chemicals.

Zinc-Plated Finish Concrete Screws

Zinc-plated concrete anchors offer increased strength with moderate corrosion resistance. Simpson Titen HD screws with zinc plating provide a cost-effective, high-strength fastening solution for dry, indoor use. Zinc-plated anchors are not recommended for outdoor use, as extended exposure to moisture and harsh elements can cause corrosion.

Mechanical Galvanized Finish Concrete Screws

Mechanical galvanized anchors have improved corrosion and rust resistance with very high strength. Simpson’s Titen HD anchors with mechanical galvanized finish can easily be installed in cracked and uncracked concrete applications with strong holding power.
